  • Restaurant is in a quiet neighborhood. Thursday night wasn't super busy and had a good showing. We got both the Chef's Menu (meat) and Fish Menu. Both are good. Maybe the meat dishes were slightly better. Quailty and taste were both excellent. Service was great. We would recommend this restaurant.

  • Visited again this restaurant this year. This time, we chose some from the fish and meat dishes making a total of 6 dishes. The portion looks small but on the 5th dish, we were really full. Excellent food. Service was good as well. We reserved to eat in this restaurant to celebrate our birthdays.

  • Very cosy and intimate place. The staff was always present to cater to our needs, never even had to lift our hands once. I give it 5* only for the second dish, which had amazing flavours, however, there was a big differance between the first 3 dishes and the main (both beef and duck), which, in my opinion, was a bit under the rest. All in all, we had a very good time and can warmly recommend a visit there.

  • We loved this place. Arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat is immediately. Small and cozy and quiet. Food was outstanding. We had the 6 course meal, one of each. It was well worth walking as far as we did to get there.

  • One of the best meals I’ve had in my life! I got the fish menu and all the 6 dishes were excellent. Very tasteful and beautifully presented. It’s a small restaurant not in the touristic area. I made a reservation a few days before and could not be more pleased with the whole experience.

  • I have to say, it was a great experience with great food and services, will definitely come again if ever visit Oslo. You do not want to miss this place if you want some Norwegian cuisine. -Environment & Location Nice place, cosy and clean, not many tables available, make reservation before you go. Not too far from city centre, tram station is nearby. -Food & Drink Provides both meat and fish menu, you can choose your type of meat for the meat menu main course, but not for the fish menu. The combination was just great, you can taste every flavour listed on the menu. Love the small club sandwich with quail great and foie gras, surprisingly delicious. Wine pairing was great with the food, excellent selection. The dessert was slightly below standard, maybe can have better choices. -Service Great service, as the place is small, the waitress was able to take care of all the tables. She even top up my wine after she seen my glass was empty before I finishing the appetiser. -Price The price is comparable with many local fine dining restaurants, so I assume the price is alright.

  • I came here on a Friday night for dinner in late June with my husband for the first night of our trip to Scandinavia from New York. We were recommended this restaurant by the concierge at our hotel, Christiania Teater. We made a reservation online/through email about three weeks prior. Dinner at this restaurant was honestly an exceptional experience. We both did the fish tasting menu. I had the wine pairing. The food and wines were delicious. The restaurant is adorable, intimate (but not crowded), and not at all touristy. Our server was lovely, attentive, and knowledgeable. The owner of the restaurant came around the various tables to make sure every one enjoyed their food and experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If and when I am in Oslo again, I will definitely look forward to dining here again.
